In the rhyme we learn as kids it's "forgot" too and it annoys me no end, but I think when it was written maybe they hadn't invented "forgotten" yet

Yeah I guess there's still probably a fair amount of young Christians, but it's still much rarer than it was a few decades ago

A Christian is someone who follows the tenets of Christ as shown in the New Testament, not just someone who's been christened
