Wow. There is still a lot of "religious" people in America. It was hard for the Hispanic side of my family to accept that I'm an Athieist.
Oh yeah I can imagine how that is in America, it makes sense for some reason. I'm actually really surprised that England/UK is dropping it all so much though. I mean, I'm a second-gen secularist. Before that, Catholics and Mormons, so thank **** my parents didn't carry that shit on.

Anyday is a good day with the right attitude Scribbs. I'm pulling a 12 hr shift and I'm good. I've got you fine people to converse with

This is true but endless days of unemployment is really starting to get to me. Just want a job to keep myself active, when free time means more to me I seem to get more done

12 hour shift tho, that's pretty brutal

I did some 11-hr supermarket shifts way back when, that was no fun

Meh...That's close to the usual. When I was in aircraft maintenance, I had to wash aircraft every 6 months. Those could take up to 18 hours

Needful Things?

Anything from Chevy Stevens

11 hours of customer service would suck. I agree with that.

What kind of work are you looking for now?

Media/film industry. I just finished a film course where I did a lot of writing/directing, which is my dream job, I guess. You need a car for film work apparently though so I just need something to afford to learn to drive + a car so I can start doing low-pay film work for a bit to get a bit of a name for myself. So many jobs I've been point-blank refused for not being able to drive, shit really stings, especially in London the Pubic Transport ****ing Capital

needful days

That's right, I remember you posting about an interest in the film industry. That's cool man. I do not have the creativity for something like that. I hope you get the opportunity do something with that. You know we could use some original work these days.

That sounds pretty stupid that you have to be able to drive to get a job in film (those two things don't seem like they automatically correlate). I would imagine if a Taxi/train can get you to work on time, then there should be no issue.

It's a really good industry to get into, plenty of money in it plus I generally gravitate towards creative endeavours. The driving thing is kind of dumb though. I mean I can understand needing a car for set shoots, but a lot of these are based in offices, so wtf? I can just get a tube or whatever

Always good to do what you love. Long hours aren't so bad when you do something you're into. What kind of film work are you trying to do? Directing, grip, storyboard?

Don't they have on set transportation or something. This seems like it should be a non issue.

i changed my own headlights and i feel like a real big boy for once in my life
