Sadly this is because Islamic terror attacks in Muslim majority countries are quite common. You can't be surprised that it's seen as bigger news when they go into non-muslim majority countries and murder you.

Just like I could say that all the recent shootings in Chicago do not seem to be news worthy, that is because shootings in Chicago(or anywhere in this country) are not rare, but a mass shooting is comparably rare.

'Comparably' indeed, you guys seem to have at least one major one per week. Why do you think so many people commit mass shootings in America, compared to say, the UK, or maybe even another country with gun laws like the US?

We have a huge population and guns are a big part of our culture. It's not a great mystery lol.

Is the freedom of having all of those guns worth the freedom to live of those killed in these massacres? It really surprises me how many you guys get and yet won't budge on gun law stuff, not even a slight bit.
