Yeah it is worth it, 100%. Far far more defensive uses of firearms per year.

Defensive uses of firearms? Against whom, another person wielding a gun? awehuhs

If were going to talk about America and shootings, I should probably point something out.

Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua have shit high homicide rates and shootings. Mexico, Brazil and Colombia also have high homicide rates.

If a country just accepts massacres as 'just something that happens here' then that's pretty screwed up imo. As bad as Sadiq Khan saying that thing about terrorist attacks just being another normal part of London life

Against anything. Doesn't need to be someone else wielding a gun.

An older woman just shot and killed a young guy who broke into her house and wasn't heeding commands by her to stop. He didn't have a gun. If SHE also had no gun, how does that end for her, Scribs? Raped? Dead?

Did he really say that?

The US is supposed to be a First World country, as opposed to the Third-World and Developing countries you just mentioned

My firestick sucks

You pose that to me as if allowing mass shootings to happen as a normal American event for all the family isn't enough of a moral quandary. Dunno what happens to that woman in that hypothetical, but I do know what happened to all the people that died in the Vegas shooting. (Hint: they died)

I want to move to Canada 🇨🇦

I woke up just as welshy was going to work and welshy fell asleep just after he got home from work

So I guess I don’t get any welshy time today

You ask me if it's worth it, I'm telling you that yes, it 100% is. Defensive usage of weapons is done way way way more often. That doesn't even count only for firing it. Example: you try to rob me. I pull out a gun and point it at you. You run the hell away. Boom, that gun just saved my life.

It happens far more often than the 12,000 or so deaths per year from firearms(not counting suicide).

If you have some piece of actual gun legislation you feel would have prevented this tragedy....now is the time to suggest it. If you don't have one, what solution are you proposing other than just getting rid of guns?

What about when Trailer Park Boys misuse their guns and fire at things and shoot people?

Do you guys live together?

Nah not yet

Welshy says it’s “too soon” aweherm

So by the time I leave him for somebody else he’ll orobably be ready

I mean it works for us cause I don’t think either of us are mentally ready for a full time relationship tbh

It’s exhausting

What about it? There will always be accidents.

If there is some gun law people feel we should have but we don't...suggest it please lol.

We have gun laws, we require background checks, automatic weapons are illegal, etc. The problem is the criminals tend to be willing to circumvent the laws.
