Well yeah all I really want to do is be in control of my habits, take away the raw addiction part. If I hated smoking, it'd be much easier to quit, since I'd know it was just the addiction kicking in. But I do actually really enjoy the act of smoking
I had one drink on a Thursday night and I'm still drunk.
I hate the fact that it's happened, but I'm enjoying the buzz I'm getting. srug

you may take this as a jab against you, but it's really not: the only people who i see quit cold-turkey successfully are those who say nothing about it. i would just notice "hey i havent seen you smoking" and they'll be like "yeah i quit over a year ago". point: the more you let it dance around your head like that, the closer you are to caving in and going back to sucking the paper-dick.
if it's really consuming your mind, maybe try substitution. nicotine gum/lozenges/patch/douche-flute/etc.
