So in our timeline, Welshy is a good wrestler, a good guitarist, he has a good job, a ****ing car and a GF who likes to make us feel bad.

🙁

Welshy has been playing guitar a lot longer than me tbf

soon walshy will get so good at giving up that he'll give up on giving up, and then watch out world.

I'm 90% sure at some point we all slipped over into the most absurd timeline

Does he play anything besides Greenday - Time of your life?

As a guitar player I consider myself a professional amateur

If he can play that then props. The finger picking stuff is something I can never get my head round

Drums are the true patrician instrument though tbf. I want to learn them properly eventually

pretty sure you're better tho and like you know about recording and producing stuff

it's bliss for me. played rarely and poorly in my early 20's (still had a blast) and put it on a shelf, but i decided to get a digital kit back in 2011 and do some real practice. never looked back. my poor guitars are alone and abandoned.

Sometimes, for short periods, I start getting pretty good and surprise myself with my own abilities. But honestly if I don't play guitar for like three days my skill level decreases to some ridiculous level where I can't even play power chords properly. Proper annoying, it put me off playing other than for recording just due to how disheartening it is

Recording knowledge is useful though, as long as I can just put out my own albums at a decent pace/skill lvl I'm okay with it
