I don't say this kind of thing often and I bet Welshy misses it but Green Day really did a great job on 21st Century Breakdown. Genuinely a good album, a few less good tracks on there but also a lot of their best songs too

I can actually see why I liked this one when I was younger. Some of the other stuff... not so much... I mean I don't think most of American Idiot has aged that well (aside from the longer songs and a couple others), but this album has a good sound and you can actually hear the Hüsker Dü influence they prattle on about all the time.

I play bass pretty good, I've been playing it more and more when jamming with other people. Might actually be a better bassist than a guitarist at this point.
