You also live in a very different culture to mine, in particular the city you live in, which is known for having a large amount of crime committed by black persons, mostly young males. You recognise that the issues do not stem just from them being 'black' and that there are a variety of reasons for why it is like that. That kind of critical thinking shows that you are not yourself a racist as you are not putting any blame on the race itself.
