Well Military pay is 24/7 so it averages out weird. Also, there is different pay for living in different countries to offset their cost of living so it all really depends. I think my last W-2 was some around 45-50K so not balling by any means.

I have 4 children. lol I can't complain though. It puts food on the table, ensure they have health coverage, and allows me to buy them some cool stuff every now and then.

Don't feel alone. I joined the military for the same reason. They will pay me and tell me what to do since I can't make up my mind on my own.
