Well Military pay is 24/7 so it averages out weird. Also, there is different pay for living in different countries to offset their cost of living so it all really depends. I think my last W-2 was some around 45-50K so not balling by any means.

Not bad at all though. As long as you enjoy it well enough and get a decent wage it's pretty decent.

My friend got the military to pay for his undergraduate degree. He’s a supply officer. He gets out in a few years. Wants to be a lawyer.

Math/Physics sounds awesome. I must admit that I regrettably haven't pushed very far in my pursuit of math, but it was my favorite subject. I always received high marks in school. Except Geometry. I only got a B.
