I actually don't think I can awehuhs

Don't want to, either, not really. I seem to get more creative when I'm down, which is an awful stereotype, but it's true too, at least to some degree

Idk how much it's linked because I've always been kinda crazy and always been kinda creative

Maybe they have nothing to do with each other and actual mental health is genuinely possible

I doubt it tho

That's aesthetic af

@uno

Nighters

God nicht

I think Green Day got better when they went all big and operatic

Honestly can't stand Uno Dos Tre and onwards though. It's like all their worst parts stuck together

21CB is their best album imo

Dookie as second and then either 1039/SOSH or Kerplunk as third

no whoa hang on

trilogy was an ambitious throw everything against the wall blast and dos is my fave but theres hits n misses on all of them imo and rev rad is just plain all awesome give that another listen

i'm conflicted because first album i heard was nimrod but american idiot was like the album of my generation, it felt that way anyways
like dookie was before it but obviously i was like 3 when it came out

To be fair I didn't listen to the full albums I just got put off majorly by the singles

American Idiot was the mid-2000s all over

It was omnipresent

let yourself go was one of the better singles they did off the trilogy

even hardcore fans and the band itself seems to hold it to high esteem

wish i could remember what they said exactly

I think you'll like the two songs I have cooked up for this double single thingy

Focusing on the trilogy, Billie added: "Those records have absolutely no direction to them. It was about being prolific for the sake of it. So we were just going and going."

Stressing that the band's upcoming album "Revolution Radio" is NOT an "angry album," Armstrong noted that the effort is "inspired by confusion and just trying to make some sense of where you stand in the world there's a lot of chaos going on. That's a big theme through all of Green Day's history - feeling lost."

The source also noted about the new record: "After the grandiosity of 2012's trio of LPs, 'Revolution Radio' is not so much a makeover as a make-under: a self produced set fueled by little more than 'tons of coffee' and recorded by the threesome 'hacking away' over the first six months of 2016 in their new studio Otis ('as in Otis Redding or Otis Rush'😉."

it was also just before he went to rehab after the whole iheart meltdown so thats another thing

Otis Redding my man

Yeah that really disappointed me

Mike Dirnt just going along with it hit me hard. Especially considering he couldn't even break his bass. That close-up shot of the completely intact bass was hilarious but sad at the same time

i liked that mike went along with it cause otherwise billie doing it on his own looks worse, if you were going crazy smashing shit i'd join in with you
