I think it was just that on the dark bg of PS the colours and border are very defined, then when seen on the light bg of KMC it ends up looking very different just due to how eyes perceive colour and shades and stuff

it's the only thing i can think of. sRGB has a tendency to pop the shit out of colors which started out more subtle in another profile. it's the final profile of our sigs, so the game really seems to be: slip by KMC's image uploading with minimal compression.

I like KMC black generally, but KMC Default is the one I'm most used to and I think it also comes across as the most well-designed. Quite a nice colour scheme + no 2000-era Star Wars banner for the homepage.

I don't think kmc allows that

Honestly though I'm 99% sure the entire "KMC sig uploader is lowering image quality" thing was purely just my eyes seeing the sig that way once it was on a light bg rather than the dark one I made it on. Happens a lot, I make a sig and then realise it's way too dark and that it just looked light enough because I was working on dark grey when making it

I've been wanting to make a wrapper for kmc to give it a much needed update
