So far v disappointed with the indie hero albums this year, Breeders album had very few notable tracks, GbV's album was a bunch of decent if mostly uninteresting and badly-mixed songs, and Yo La Tengo's is just another Yo La Tengo album. Superchunk's album on the other hand was pretty good with some pretty sweet hooks. Where my Pavement?

That's not even an exaggeration lol. We had a teacher force students to write letters to lawmakers calling for tighter gun control. He straight up mandated their position on the matter, lol.
Imagine if a teacher forced kids to write to lawmakers calling for abortion to be illegal...

I think it's because people have fallen out of touch with people. They see politics are defining of human life, as opposed to being born from specific moments and eras in human history, and so pile all of their faith in these flimsy ideals that frequently don't hold up to much scrutiny when applied to many different contexts. But people gonna peep so what can I do?

We're at the point now where leftists want tv shows removed from the air because they hurt the feelings of Daivd Hogg(parkland shooting survivor).
I seem to recall there was a time when they would be all "I might not agree with what you say, but I'll die for your right to say it". Now it is "I might not agree with what you say....so you should be de-platformed".
