William Shatners new book apparently talks about missing Leonard Nimoys funeral. His daughters went because he had an obligation to do an event for the Red Cross.
He admits it was a convenient excuse because he didn't think he'd feel welcome. He said he was best friends with Nimoy, but apparently says Nimoy kind of stopped being his friend and returning his phone calls after he used footage of him for a documentary about Star Trek. Nimoy had said he couldn't use the footage and Shatner apparently thought he was joking.
