Oh I wonder who started that...
So, all of today I've been listening to the album. I downloaded the torrent this morning, that was soon removed (don't worry, I already paid for a pre-order, for anyone who's going to bite my head off for that.) And I've listened to it about 6 times all the way through, and I must say, that this has been a most interesting turn of events. I had only heard the "21st Century Breakdown" demo and the single, and was rather disappointed. I feared that the band that had been with me since I was 8 years old, and been the soundtrack to my life had finally crapped out on me. I did not listen to any of the songs until today and must say that this has become not just one of my favorite Green Day albums, but one of my favorite albums of all-time.

There was this dude in the bus today who realized there was a new Green Day album, he was big, and scary, yet he squealed when he heard the news.

"Hey, look at me, I just got into Green Day with their new album, how come me smart and you stupid? I have jacket with Green Day patches security pinned on my jacket."
"Umm, I've been a Green Day fan since I was like seven, I have all their albums and have seen them onstage, even went to their big mud-fight shows"
"No, you stupid Scythe, how come my parents preordered my album from Amazon while you still stupid?! A-haha-haahaha-harharhar!"
