guns n roses were glam posing as metal. only glam bands i kinda digged were motley crue and skid row. i did used to include gnr but tbh i havent listened in over decade

Glam Metal was metal tho. But yeah GNR were basically glam metal with bigger ambitions. Tbh Crüe are the only real glam metal act I can get down to

a very long time ago i went to see zakk wylde at the birch hill nightclub, and lemmy was drinking at the bar. it was the night before ozzfest and for whatever reason lemmy was there sans-motorhead. thought "well this night couldn't possibly get any more awesome", but later on zakk calls him onstage and they do a mountain cover. i came. was this song:
