God created life in the first place, and His OT Self was one of angry confusion, because He gave us free will, yet we abused it. So He lived life as a man, and saw that life from our level was indeed painful and difficult. After that, He died for our sins, and gave us guidance in how to achieve a peace that will last forever. He's a good Dude.
Of course God knew the pain people suffered beforehand — but only living as a man can make you understand what it is like. He knew this, and so let Himself live and die through it. He gave us the model of Man, the Ideal. To live as Jesus did is almost impossible, but yet we try, not only for life in Heaven, but to make life better for those who live here.

Being omnipotent you're also omniscient, so he'd have known about his experiences as Jesus before Jesus even existed.Hell he'd have known Satan would be evil lol.
And yeah I'm sure Job's family were grateful God allowed them to be butchered by Satan in order to prove a point.
I could go into my various ideas about Satan's relationship to God and Man, but that's a whole 'nother plate of cake.

I do have spirituality. I believe there is life after death, I just don't believe there is a heaven or hell or a being that created everything.
