Good question. I believe that without Evil we would not truly understand Good. Basically, what Satan in the South Park movie says. Without that manifestation, we would have nothing distinct to know to run away from in terms of Sin. Satan is a lesson in hubris.

With free will there would be evil...unless all evil is from satan, in which case nobody deserves to go to hell but satan.

Well, yeah, Satan is Evil. He's the original Evil. He created the idea of Sin by rebelling, creating hubris, Pride, arrogance, etc. All Evil stems from men straying from the Ideal of Jesus Christ.

Yeah so how come you're religious now

He might have committed the first sin, but it doesn't mean people would need him to sin.

Idk, if you couldn't tell I've spent a long time musing on Ecumenical matters

Long story short, I drew on God's power and crushed my depression, gained strength, gained confidence and overall power to be a better person. I was astounded, myself. I can't deny that kind of strength tbh

He existed before Sin; he is the definition of all that is Sinful.

Personal agency is almost a dichotomy: do as Satan, or do as Jesus.

The funny thing is that I think my conversion first began with Slay recommending me 16 Horsepower some 12 years ago

I was looking for the time Slay rec'd me 16 Horsepower (which I found) but I can't believe AXEL recommended Naked City way back then and I slept on it

I'm glad you're more confident and stuff

I don't know. The Bible is a complex book. I tend to focus on the NT because it actually tells me how to live a fulfilling moral existence, rather than making me get bogged down in Lovecraftian nonsense. I'd rather just read Lovecraft if that were my intention

I'm interested into getting into the more bizarre aspects of the Bible eventually but to me, the OT is mainly a precursor to the glory of the NT, which is the stuff I've read the most and the stuff that speaks to me directly

you are a false prophet. god is s superstition.

I appreciate you calling me a prophet but I am but a humble servant of God, Who is certainly not just a superstition

I'm just quoting there will be blood. but god is a superstition

You can be afflicted by lethargy, bitterness and depression, or you can surrender yourself to a higher power and gain power. Do what you shall
