You can like whatever you like, man. On a technical level though, Death are considerably more achieved and varied, musically. Deicide are good for a couple tracks but nothing they produced was on a level with Altars of Madness or Blessed Are the Sick, let alone Individual Thought Patterns or mo'****in' Symbolic

well see there it is, you're a solo guy. when it comes to metal, cool solos were just a bonus for me. i can do without them tho, which is why i like amon amarth too

All good bands. Especially Carcass, reppin' my boys from Liverpool. UK legends tbh. I think they're releasing new music soon, their last album was really good so I'm hyped

idgaf about solos, I'm talking about complex rhythms and band interplay, as opposed to just straight blast beats. Don't get me wrong, I like Deicide, but they get old fast compared to bands with more diversity of rhythm, tone, etc.

Chuck knew how to lead a damn band, that's why Death always sounded great, if not better, with each line-up. The Human era is gr8 because it has my boi Paul Masvidal (I might be spelling that wrong)
