See but a lot of this is a manifestation of the problem of the fallibility of language. It's not so hard to discuss material issues, as you can use visual markers to know what the object of discussion 'actually' / physically is, even if the meanings of those objects are still hard to define due to subjective interpretation. But when talking of God, how could words ever suffice? They are crude things, made by men. How could they actually get to the heart of what 'God' really is?
This is true also of all of the great philosophical questions. How can we discuss 'being' when it's so tricky to define in the first place (see: Sein und Zeit by Heidegger)? And, as Wittgenstein got into in Philosophical Investigations, are all great philosophical questions the result of the failings of language?

True faith cannot exist without a choice.
The Earth is imperfect because of the fallen state of man. This is expressed in his free will. The refusal to accept The Lord as savior makes people vulnerable to Satan and his machinations.
