That's a good point, and I agree. If conflict does start then I'll deal with it, but for sake of ease I enjoy things to be simple and without any lingering hostility. I do tend to be very careful with words and use tonnes of qualifiers to make sure people don't misunderstand me (not that they always work, but that's life I guess)
Well part of it is selfishness on my part. I don't want to waste the effort of having to have my guard up around people I have offended all the time. It's not typical of INTP's to check their words, but I come from a huge family where I picked up the issues that come with hurting people fairly early in life. But, mostly, my ideal state is a placid state of being.

I would think it would make things more awkward. It would for me at least. I try to gauge people by watching their body movement and such to tailor my approach. It would be harder on camera

I like social interactions to be simple. I'm usually to busy thinking about other stuff so any external human issues are just an impedence on something I'd rather be doing.
