I much, much prefer classical architecture to modern stuff. I went to Italy for the first time last year and was in heaven, Florence was glorious

Florence is amazing

That's a good point, and I agree. If conflict does start then I'll deal with it, but for sake of ease I enjoy things to be simple and without any lingering hostility. I do tend to be very careful with words and use tonnes of qualifiers to make sure people don't misunderstand me (not that they always work, but that's life I guess)

Well part of it is selfishness on my part. I don't want to waste the effort of having to have my guard up around people I have offended all the time. It's not typical of INTP's to check their words, but I come from a huge family where I picked up the issues that come with hurting people fairly early in life. But, mostly, my ideal state is a placid state of being.

Another camera meeting today, I'm not enjoying them. They're weird.

I would think it would make things more awkward. It would for me at least. I try to gauge people by watching their body movement and such to tailor my approach. It would be harder on camera

I have a zoom meeting Thursday

I never go on camera tho

Sound only and only if I have to

I'm jealous. I haven't had the opportunity to go to Florence.

Venice > Florence.

Haven't gotten to go there either.

I'd love to go to Venice...

Same, and I tend to choose very specific moments to talk, which are much harder to gauge with the latency, so I tend to just stay quiet unless something is directed at me

yeah, I can't stand Facetime and such. I feel awkward the entire time

I think I'd prefer it sound-only. I always feel like Lenny otherwise

Me too. I was stationed in Germany for three years but did not get a chance to travel much. It was such a waste.

lol

edit: I was lolling at scribble's post.

Yeah, I prefer things to be placid mostly just because I'm lazy and like things to be simple. Plus, being introverted means that dealing with imbalance exhausts me, so I prefer to just not deal with it

I actually live pretty alright but all my colleagues have their lovely family homes with all the sunlight coming in and I ain't got that shit

I like social interactions to be simple. I'm usually to busy thinking about other stuff so any external human issues are just an impedence on something I'd rather be doing.

I feel you 100% on this.
