I remember seeing Jumanji when it first came out in theaters. It was a big deal because of the CGI. I have not seen the remake.

The first remake is fun enough, though not as good as the original. The sequel of the remake is less fun, but still decent for a kid's flick.

edit: Actually, they're all tied together iirc, so both newer films are really sequels and not remakes.

I looked it up, yeah it seems to be a direct sequel

yeah, the board game from the first film morphs itself into a video game console in order to entice the kids to play it. Keeping up with the changing times.
