YOU'RE the picture before!

Also this is a very broad statement but how long usually does it take to 'learn to code' to a decent enough level to be employable?

I'd look at the various courses they offer and see if any sound interesting. I'm not super into the coding stuff outside of devops/sre stuff.

I'd also recommend a udemy.com course. They're always on sale so don't spend more than a tenner on one.

Look at both and see which one you prefer. The freecodecamp one usually starts off with Front End stuff (How websites look. Basically what people see when they go to a website)

That's mostly on you. Go through the course. Make up a mock site or two. Toss it around places. They encourage discussion on their site and I'm sure they're forums have way more answers to that question

how dare u bring up coolio

The absolute biggest piece of advice I can give you. Assuming you'll enjoy learning this and are interested in making it a career. Learn how to complete projects.

I think you've got a leg up here seeing as you've had to do that during your schooling. Learning how to plan a project out. Break it down to manageable pieces and complete each until its done will land you a job quick.

You don't even have to finish the course to learn enough to make a few projects. That is enough to get you an entry job and once you have that, you're golden. The coding nerds are really into expanding your knowledge so you're sort of forced to learn more things.

also, you'll have google open constantly. everyone does. do not let that bother you.
