I know that and you know that, but the people trying to make excuses for Disney saying they were just living up to their principles apparently do not know that.

And speaking of China how many of the countries that boycotted the 1980 olympic games cuz of Russia will be consistent and boycott the 2022 olympics in China?

Leftists love capitalism when it does what they want it to, that's the thing. Even (and often especially) the 'socialists'. As long as the globocorps are woke, they're all good.

China gets very special treatment from the left, generally — because they're enemies of America. Hence "it's racist to call it the Chinese coronavirus", as well as the lack of outrage against Mulan being filmed in genocideland. I imagine we'll see the same stuff for the Olympics; in fact, protesting the Olympics in China will be an act of racism that will be publicly shamed at every available opportunity.

All hail Winnie the Pooh, Supreme Overlord of Earth.

If 'cancel culture' was actually everyone cancelling their subscriptions to megacorps, instead of it being ritual public shaming and the weaponisation of employment, then I'd be all for it tbh

Bingo. And hell I didn't even say I supported people canceling disney plus. I'm not gonna throw anymore money at disney, but I certainly won't be orchestrating a campaign to get others to do the same, advertisers to stop doing business with disney, etc.

But yeah, the worst are the wokesters who try to lie and say cancel culture isn't even a thing.

Hell David Shor got called out and fired for posting a link to a study(done by a black guy) showing violent riots decrease voter turn out.

Just imagine woke hipsters wearing $300 shoes bitching on twitter about capitalism on phones they paid several hundred dollars for

Oh wait you don't have to imagine it, it happens all the time.

And I doubt Biden has the balls to boycott the olympics.

Biden just quietly revoked a Trump-era policy regarding Chinese-sponsored education programs that required K-12 schools and universities to disclose their ties to such institutions

Why was the policy wrong?

I rarely agree with Bash, but I also find Rob's lack of understanding about what cancel culture is funny.

"it's not cancel culture, it's culpability, it's called being held accountable!!" and other statements: the broken functionality of the rational society, the lunatic comfort of cognitive dissonance, the smug orgasm of an empty idiology [sic] of insecure hypocrisy

Same, I love it when he puts the "tard" in "Robtard"

Context is the sorely-missed ghost of wisdom, exorcised and forgotten by all but the Omega Men. the rest are vampires

Waiting for Godot that, m8

@Scrib Fun fact about Pedro Pascal: he appears in an episode of buffy. He is in the first episode of the 4th season called "The Freshman" playing the first person buffy befriends in college(who is then turned into a vampire)
