I have plenty of independently-produced stuff to delve into and appreciate. I will wrench myself from pop culture absolutely, even if it requires suicide. I am committed to the cause. Accelerate to the fall, hope that the End of History is also the end of man.

Rise of Skywalker was such a draggggggggggg

I agree it is silly to keep giving the company money

Especially when it's so easy to torrent tv shows and movies.

I get that you're illegally downloading there stuff, but is there much of a difference if you still like, watch their content?

And then come on here and say how much you enjoy Wandavision?

Like I'm sure you feel as though you aren't supporting Disney...but aren't you? You're doing their work for them.

Yeah, and yet it looks like Citizen Kane compared to The Last Jedi.

I feel naive as f*ck for thinking about the prequels "nobody can make a worse star wars trilogy than this".

I don't think me saying I enjoy it here is gonna earn them anymore customers. In fact some people on here might refuse to watch it just because I said I like it lol.

If I was on social media and had a sizeable following yeah I'd not mention it because then the word could really get out.

I have never been so bummed out in a cinema

There were a few points where I was laughing at the film, but most of all me and my friends were just looking at each other and saying "what the ****?" or "for ****'s sake" and the like

The funniest part was when the film ended and the lights came up, one person started clapping and then very swiftly stopped when they realised nobody else was

This was basically me in the theater:

Ever notice though it seems people get less triggered over trashing Rise than they did TLJ. I'm guessing cuz TLJ inserted a bunch of SJW shit into it so people got big mad(even some on here) over calling out al the obvious faults.

and the star wars community loved seeing Ahsoka show up, so any claims of it being disliked because Rey is female not very accurate.

That EXACT thing happened in my showing. Were we in the same theater?

"Somehow.....Palpatine has returned...."

and cuz it's a star wars movie u got the potential for obnoxious little kids to be there being loud

TLJ is just a film that SJW-types flock to for some reason. If you criticise it, you are an incel neckbeard and the like. Don't get it. Film was shit. Not as shit as RoS, but still very, very bad.

I think the thing is that TLJ fans also hate RoS because it sidelined Rose and did other anti-Rian stuff. The film was terrible generally, so basically everyone hated it: the TLJ fans the TLJ haters were united in their fervour and unbridled rage.

Oh TLJ lovers hate RoS partly because there isn't much of Rose Tiko.

Some left wing rag, either Salon or Slate...literally counted the exact number of seconds Rose appears in RoS lol. Funny thing is she is in TLJ for maybe 10 minutes.

The character wasn't a good character, wasn't integral to the plot. Seems the only thing she had going for her was being female and asian. That was it.

Why do you hate mysteries, bro

Be glad there are mysteries when Star Wars decides to solve a mystery we get midichlorians

Marvel is bringing in a new mutant that was previously only found in fan fiction.

Her name is soft serve. Her power is she shits ice cream.

This isn't me making a joke, it's real lol.

I'm horrified to discover her origin story and how she discovered her poop is ice cream. Who made the first taste test?

We are in full agreement here. They should have just left it with Kenobi's explanation in ep4

Damn #CancelDisneyPlus was trending at #1 recently.

I do think she should have had more of a part in the final film, just because she was an established character from the last film and it seemed weird for her to not do anything. It stuck out because it just felt like JJ giving the finger to Rian, which is assumedly exactly what it was

Which is hilarious because in promo material for TFA, JJ is like "I wish I could cast only Asians in Star Wars, go Asians!" and then does that to the only main Asian actress
