The whole Welshy "slammin'" / Bart Simpson "I didn't do it" parallel is actually perfect.Both Welshy and Bart originally said the thing without it meaning to become anything, then people picked up on it and forced it into his catchphrase, so they went along with it at first and say the phrase, eventually get sick of it, but they're still being taunted with it ages after the fact, and have people asking them to say it all the time.
To top it off, Welshy is well-known for his long-term use of a Bart avatar.
