It must have been bubbles and squeak. It's a southern thing of left over mash potato, cabbage and onions (although I think it might actually be leak) fried in a pan and it bubbles and squeaks, hence the term. My theory is its cockney rhyming slang. Cabbage and leak becomes bubbles and squeak.See, I'd have fruit in yoghurt, which I think cottage cheese is close to, but I've never had cottage cheese.
Cottage cheese isn't like yogurt aside from the dairy aspect. Cottage cheese is a lumpy and chunky wet cheese. I don't love it, it's just okay. I mostly eat it for its high protein/low sugar aspect. By itself it's rather bland.
Fruit in yogurt is great, as is granola. I sometimes mix yogurt, berries and granola in a bowl. Good for breakfast, or a dessert after dinner.

Greek yoghurt is high protein and almost always comes in 0% fat, which sounds kinda dumb because they just up the sugar destroying the point.
At rehab they just put in some greek yoghurt with raspberry jam in and they're great snacks.
