It probably actually is. Not against him specifically, the people in charge "install" leaders I bet.
Let me just refer you to this:
Basically in 1933 a group of businesses tried to do a coup in America, just like they did a coup in Hawaii (That's how the US got them as a state, US businessmen did a coup there and toppled the rightful government).
The coup to replace FDR was unmasked by the major-general they approached to lead 10,000 men, who reported them, and the news media buried the story. Decades later they finally admit yeah, something happened.
Big businesses don't really give up on something if it fails, the way I figure it they probably tried again and again until they succeeded, or they succeeded that first time and we're under an oligarchy that pretends it's a Democracy, with all the elections at the highest level rigged by big businesses.
Trump and Biden are just figureheads, it's Wall Street that calls the shots.
