Enjoying it and thinking of it as a good film are different things. If you enjoy such infantile things, fine, but I'll stick to films with any kind of depth.

I liked the cartoon. Film shat all over the cartoon though. Then it killed it, raped it's corpse, and shat on it again. Then pissed on it. Then raped it three more times, and chucked it out of a 20 story building while shitting on it from above.

There's no such thing as real movies fans. That doesn't make any sense. We all look for different things in films, and just because someone likes a "pile of corporate shit" doesn't make their say and opinion less valid than yours srug

Besides whether we like it or not Transformers was the epitome of todays movies. Pure popcorn flick, packing out theatres. Underdog gets the girl (standard eye-candy actress),rounded off with a bucket-load of CGI.

There is, though. Movie buffs. They understand what's better in films, and what makes shit films. Just like music buffs. All arrogant twats, but it takes an arrogant **** to tell others just what shit they're watching.

It wasn't a remake of the cartoon so I don't see why the comparison should be made.

I just think that people who can't enjoy a good ol action movie without depth are just narrowing their movie experience. Many of the classics are just plain action movies, such as die hard, terminator, and many martial arts classics.

the only people who could be considered experts on movies would be critics

everyone else just has their opinion
