Had an XBox before, it red-ringed. It doesn't have Blu-Ray, it's very noisy, scratched my discs before. $50 a year to play online, and I'd only use it casually and not as much as others.

My roommates had a PS3 and we had lots of fun with it. No problems whatsoever, not to mention free online play with the Playstation Network.
