I nearly signed up to a dating site, then my anxiety got the better of me. Plus, I think I'm too broken at this stage anyway, it'd only end badly.

I only know it as vodka, never seen it as beer. Though you generally only get Czech beers in CZ. You can get Hoegaarden in some places after they re-branded it into being some sort of hip beer. The guy behind that marketing campaign died a few months back btw, was pretty sad news, he was only 38 I think. He was behind the re-branding of Hoegaarden and Leffe from some old dusty abbey beers into the new hipster trend. Genius marketing. But I digress. You can get Corona, Stella, Heineken and that in select places but it's way more expensive and not as good as Czech beers, so why bother, amirite?

Yeah, I need me some of those Czech beers. Euro beers are good generally, I do like Leffe and Hoegaarden.

You heard wrong on the Catholic part. CZ is one of the most secular countries in the world. I think it's second only to Estonia in the percentage of the population that identifies as atheist. You're probably confusing it with Poland.

The woman are attractive, but not my cup of tea in most cases, tbh. Most of them don't speak English very well. I've been with more fellow expats than Czech women since I've lived here.
