Yes. As far as I can tell men are generally much more condescending than women. If anything it seems to me that women are more likely to be condescending to other women than to men.

Not quite, it's also an issue of "it's not actually a gender problem" vs. "this happens mainly to women and is mainly perpetrated by men"

I understand that. I may be wrong but I think Slay's main issue
,if he isn't trolling is that the name of the sexist issue is sexist.

We need a term that points out that this is men doing it to women though. Using a term that's just "oh they are condescending people, nothing to do with sexism", doesn't address the actual issue and just obfuscates it instead.

I disagree. You can address racism without specifying which race.

You can't really. Talking about racism in the abstract doesn't help much. You need to actually discuss the struggles and hardships that specific races face and the advantages that other races have. A blanket "racism is bad, m'kay" is something that is so meaningless anyone would agree (see "All Lives Matter" vs. "Black Lives Matter"😉

To address the issue is one thing, which is completely fine, if there are a lot of women that actually experience this kind of treatment. I have to admit that I have never witnessed it that much but then I went to a college that had a 70% female student body and a somewhat similar faculty and have worked in 'Dutch' working environments which tend to be more feminine in culture, as the Dutch culture is as a whole. In fact, most condescending treatment I've received in my career, I received from women. In fact, it happened to me today (though this women is of the kind that is condescending to everyone, regardless of gender).

It's another thing entirely though to attribute this behavior to all men, which the term ''mansplaining'' does, but I'm sure you'll have some retort to that among the lines of ''It's good for men to feel the kind of oppression women are presented with on a daily basis in order to better understand the monsters they are''.

yeah the term should actually address the inequality and sexism and douchesplaining doesn't
but mansplaining makes men feel attacked for the actions of sexist men

My experience is the exact opposite, but having lived in the Czech Republic for some years now I'm starting to realise that my experience is very much related to Dutch culture being far more feminine than most other cultures.

At the end of the day it's an issue that more than one specific group of people have to face. I don't see why you couldn't have a general term for it and not have groups within that address the issues specific to them.
