Oh man that's a totally thoughtful gift and from what you've told us about her that would be the total kind of thing she would really appreciate too

I don't think it's too soon, plus she'll think of u whenever she uses it which is a plus

Like when welshy got me a bottle of wine our first night in the hotel, it was a total surprise and I didn't even ask and it made me really happy, and like he'd thought to do it all on his own and stuff which I thought was really sweet
Aw man, that's romantic as ****. Welshy is underrated in the field of romance, that's for sure

We started those posts almost identically, the singularity is happening ha-son

Does she like collect pens or something?

I might try and sneak into Leeds some day and get her one, but I'm also considering waiting until her birthday and getting her a nice one with her initials engraved on it or something. I'm sure I could think of something else cool to get her in the meantime, but then we might be seeing each other every day until she goes, so I might not have time

She's just big on stationary, it's adorable. Like her sister got her post-it notes for her last birthday and it pretty much made her year haermm

I've been thinking of buying myself a proper fountain pen. Haven't had one since school and I miss it but I never write anything these days other than the odd card for ppl so feel like it'd be a waste

I love stationary. I could spend a fortune in whsmith or staples

When going back to school, the buying of school supplies was my favourite bit! I'd get so damn excited!

Used to go to Lorimers and spend ages in their stationary section just literally wanting to buy everything ha-sonz

Yeah I had some cool fountain pens way back when, they're a lot of commitment though I feel, ink needs replacing a lot, etc.

I like stocking up on art stationary, even though I never actually use any of it... wish I did

M'girl is an awesome artist/painter, I might get her something related to that at some point. A nice pencil set or something.

When I was at work I was always buying myself funky post its and things for my desk. Even tho work supplied everything, I wanted to buy extra special things aweherm

I bought snowman post its for xmas and a cute mini stapler and some fancy hole punches that cut out hearts and flowers instead if normal holes herbeyes

Same actually, in my first year at uni I had a wild time stocking up on pens and notepads for the year. But then I got a laptop, so it's still lasting me now. But then part of that is also due to the two packs of Uniball pens I got, they're sick as hell. One lasts me like half a year, I swear they just never seem to run out.

Yeah that would be cool, in a nice travel case maybe? Depending on cost etc but artists are always good to buy for. They do loads of great gift things that artists appreciate

In fact, I'm pretty sure only two have ran out so far, and I broke one during placement when I got real stressed out one day (and for which I actually feel genuinely guilty about even now awehuhs)

I remember when work decided to cut back on stationary costs and stopped buying the nice papermate flex grip pens, they were my favourite 👇

That's a good call! I'll need to look into some cool artist gifts for her, maybe when I do some work for my parents over the summer I'll be able to afford something nice from Camden Market to bring back for her.

Aw yeah, you mean their clicky biros? They're great pens. Although I am also just generally a fan of classic Bic biros. Something about them that never fails to satisfy.
