"When you meet someone from Northern Ireland you have around 50% chance of offending them by referring to them as either being British or Irish. It is a sensitive issue."

I did not know this

So apparently the whole Irish/Northern Irish/British thing is pretty much the equivalent in terms of touchiness as the idea of class is in England (and I assume Wales and Scotland) so I totally understand that

Like when that Uno guy calls me posh, that's a bloody headache is that

I knew some Irish in the army

Thata scribble guy is a posho

I have a fair amount of Irish family and family friends, haven't seen them in a long time though. Got a lot more Scottish family though, although a lot of them are also Irish-descended. Even the family name, Higgins, is a Scottish corruption/variant of O'Hagan.

I think this chick has dethroned the Hugh Mungus chick:

What do you guys think?

I don't know if I can handle this right now

That is true. It's almost like looking Cthulhu right in the eyes. You're just not going to come away from that experience with your sanity fully in check.

In His House at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming

You're comparing your own insecurities to the many wars and deaths throughout history due to England's attempts to colonise Ireland that's real classy

Scottish people are superior because they have Scrooge McDuck on their side.

Yes, every English person is responsible for England's government's crimes, even those committed in the 19th Century and early 20th Century, sorry Welshy I forgot about that

I mean I could go into the poverty that the working classes lived in that was created by that same Upper-Class run government, how they exploited the lower and working classes if you like, I'm sure I could rustle up a few sources

Being Irish and being called British and being offended due to the way that your ancestors were oppressed by an elitist government, and being from a working class background and being called Posh and being offended due to the way that your ancestors were disenfranchised and exploited by that same government, kind of a similar situation

Alright didn't ask for your life story

"If I wanted to read a book I'd have gone to the library" is also an acceptable response
