Okay, so it's basically the exact same story as the original Spaceballs. Or, at least they capture the same kind of comedic spirit. Update old jokes, whatever. Kinda like how The Force Awakens was a remake of A New Hope

The main joke comes in when the new cast interacts with the original cast. Like if they have to find Lonestarr or something and when old ass Bill Pullman is like "Why are we accepting missions like this at our age???" someone else can be all "well the pay is great!"

and since John Candy is dead they'll find out that Barf had a child and he grew up to be played by Josh Gad
