This battle is a bit silly, but Apocalypse takes it more often than not, especially if he has prep.

the reasoning here is that Apoc has shown he was very familiar with asgardian gods during acts of vengeance, and even has equipment on hand to powerdrain them if need be.

Thor was able to defeat the serpent through strength, and apocalypse has been shown to be roughly on par. (having restrained the hulk, which only Thor has been able to do.) Apoc has also been able to INCREASE the power of the hulk via celestial tech, so if it came down to it, no reason why he couldn't amp himself past thor levels if he had to.

Apoc can also forcibly bfr, attack psionically, dump the serpent elsewhere in time etc etc.

No prep and we are talking about a mystical creature big enough to wrap its body around the earth, its hard for me to believe he could bfr it. Thor had a mystical hammer he was taging it with.

Jormungand wins this. I recall him killing Thor in a fight. Apocalypse isn't even on Thor's level when you factor in Mljornir's capabilities and the godblast.

Given prep, i'd say Apoc can win.

Stryfe and Bishop attacked Apocalypse when he was weakened. They thought they killed him, but apparently he was able to hang on to life. The collective efforts of Bishop and Stryfe couldn't kill him, even when he was already weakened 🙂

Wait, so let me get this straight (because I haven't read the comic):

Bishop and Stryfe, as in the Cable Clone/full powered telekinetic beast Stryfe (who, if I remember correctly, was dead and residing in Mephisto's Hell realm), travelled back in time to assassinate Apocalypse when he was in his weakest state, thought they killed him, but Apocalypse survives until the future, just largely depowered? Am I getting that correctly? Is this 616 Apocalypse (who I thought was currently with the Celestials)? What are the full details of the story.

Bishop ended up in the future, where Stryfe is living, as he was chasing Bishop. He found out about Apocalypse's location, and told Stryfe. Together they attacked Apocalypse as he was regenerating. Then, it took their FULL power to defeat him. And they didn't even kill him.
