So Bishop was chasing Apocalypse or Stryfe (or or an alternate version of himself)? And they attacked Apocalypse in his regeneration chamber and still couldn't kill him? Damn, that's a pretty good feat in Apocalypse's favor.
Bishop was chasing Cable, and he just happened to stumble across someone who knew where Apoc was. He used that to barter with Stryfe.

As I always said, when Apocalypse at full power and using it how he should, someone like full power Cable would never be match for him at all.
Yeah. Unlike a large percentage of posters here I'm a fan of Apocalypse. His character premise has a lot of potential.
I'm a little confused though:
If this is the future of Earth-616 does it mean that the Celestials placed Apocalypse back on Earth after the post M-Day/Blood of Apocalypse arc (where they came and took him), or did Cable take the baby to a different timeline where Apocalypse is still present on Earth?

Nobody knows.

As much as I'd like to say that Apoc has a chance, him being punked by Black Bolt doesn't help his chances here any.
At height of Apocalypse power, he rules the world with an iron fist. Stryfe (Stryfe=Godlike Calbe) and Bishop had to attack him when he was at his weakest (Stryfe always lost to him). They killed him, but not really, since he survived. And anyway, what BB did to Apocalypse is not cannon.
Black Bolt doesn't stand a chance against full power Apocalypse.
Hmm...
This fight might be a draw, actually. Besides being really big and heavy, and being able to take a big pounding from Thor, what is the Serpent going to do to Apoc offensively? It's poison is deadly to Asgardians in particular (which Apoc isn't), and I'm pretty sure Apocalypse can out maneuver it via teleportaion. In direct assault, Apocalypse can grow pretty big, though not likely as big as the Serpent. If he can reach Galactus or Living Monolith size (say 150-500' tall) he'd possibly be big enough to man handle the thing (a luxury Thor never had due to the size disparity). I'm not sure if Apocalypse can deliver enough damage to put the thing down though. Maybe grow really big, pin the serpent's head down, morph his hand or chest into a really big drill, and perform a lobotomy on it if possible.
