Are there certain types of character or personality's you have against in a role play?

It seems like bullying even if she didn't mean it when she was doing it in particular to Techna. I'm against a character that goes around and around in mannerisms, who never really seems to change. However, if it's part of the character's build up (such as a mental capacity that doesn't allow them to surpass a certain stage in their development) then I'm fine with it... apart from that, I don't really like characters that constantly do the same thing and expect the same kind of result, no matter their audience (minus villians... their a necessary staple in any good storyline)

Aside from all this, I apologise if I seem picky with certain people. I've been roleplaying for over 10 years over a spectrum of storylines and timelines and I've come across a few real thorns... it's nothing against the characters, it's the people that play them and if theres a tendency of theirs to play the same kind of characters, theres nothing more than I can do than just voice my opinion. That's all it is at the end of the day though, my opinion.

Not posting because it's not fun. Suppose to be a team. Hard to do when the people playing them are fighting.

She hulk/emma went by technas side to help her free super skrull for any reason, hell even Date is there
Harkin, your character is not even doing teamwork but being a daughter (not saying thats a bad thing, cause shes young and all) But she's excuse for any non-teamwork

She hulk just didnt like someone on her back, and harmlessly took her off her. Is there really something wrong with having actual personality? of having pride?

Everyone, I apologize that everyone likes to have diffrent personalitys. I'm sorry everyone can't be the same, or have the personalitys you like. But guess what, it's a RP. that's what makes RP Fun

It's not bitching Etna, it's called raising points from an opinion. All that I'm saying personally is that I'm sick of the bickering. Etna and Grav seemed to have worked out most of their differences, how hard is it for the other players with characters to do just that?

if you don't mind me saying, i think most of this i cause by the users becoming their characters, getting absorbed into their personallity and taking quams and disputes in the rp seriously, i know it's fairly easy to absorb a character...hell i've been acting alot more like deadpool for the past few weeks, last night a cut my finger and than bad cut was gone in like 10 seconds 😬

but since it was called it, for now im gonna go with just calling it that.

but ur comparing characters with players.
What players are here are bickering at each other besides between wei phoenix and venomancer. (which is wha it looks like half the time)

If you got problem with the players bickering at each other, u complain to them.

but "characters" bickering at each other is a diffrent thing. it makes character devolopment, and personalitys. It works.

NEUTRAL POST

Trinity is saying that the arguing and constant threats on teammates and grabbing them is holding the team and the rp back. That's my interpretation.

How I feel- I don't care if you're a dick or a douche or a bully really, but play them respectfully. I played Albion, the biggest douche we had, but even he didn't touch people or threaten to kill him. I didn't do that because Albion doesn't have to be the big dick in charge, which is what happens to our characters when things like this happen. Someone will touch someone or threaten them, the other will respond and then an argument escalates and another doesn't like what was said so they throw the first punch.

What I propose the solution be- Everyone stop arguing and threatening each other. Some of us shouldn't let our personal feelings for a character get in the way or cloud our judgment. Don't worry about who's stronger than who if you're on the same team. If someone says something you don't like then ignore them. It's very unrealistic for us to stop and argue or bicker when we're running for our lives, or you want to threaten to kill the guy that's flying the plane, or you don't like the fact that others are beating a mass murderer up just because he's related to you. I know Scott can come off hard and like a dick, but I've said many times that he means the best and does it to keep everyone alive. I give everyone the freedom to voice their opinions about him in the rp when they're not on a mission, tell him you hate him for all he cares he won't punish you for your feelings towards him, but when you're in the field shut up and follow orders.
