You know what i find fun, book reading all the wonderful posts of everyone when i sign in to find so many new posts

🙁 But why is it everyone just "skims" and then gets things wrong, or sign in the rp and ask "so whats going on" "what i miss" "whats up"etc
instead of just reading what ya missed

You guys get mad about getting ignored in the rp, or no one talking to their characters in the rp. but...
But isn't that ignoring everyone right there? When you don't read everyone's posts?

Sometimes because things get skimmed, people dont notice that their characters were being talked to. (yes, i seen this happen ALOT already)
im somewhat still new to the RP universe (only 2 and half months of experience) but I know enough to know that a RP in a forum isnt some chat room, where u come in the middle of a chat and continue whatever the conversation is going from there

I understand if you skim posts like mine, cause i guess i tend to type alot of words in a post because I think its more fun for everyone to read more. But if no one likes to read more, I guess i should start typing less since it wont really be read at all.
I myself find it fun when theres more stuff to read and i learn more about all of you guy's characters. (but i cant learn much with 1 or 2 lines)

I dun care if u skim, skip, ignore MY posts.(ill be a ghost, i dont care) But at least read everyone else and each other, especially the host! (Jalek moye, and sometimes Wei Phoenix)
im not asking you to read essays, since only half the members type a lot... But it only takes me 5 minutes to read 'what i missed'

I just wanted to get that out of my chest, you dont have to listen to me though. I'm not the host, or have power, or have been the longest member. (joined like at page 120)
I just believe it'll be more funner for you guys.

If I understand what she's saying then I think I can sum up this post by paraphrasing it into: If you want to know something then read, don't skim.

i do read. Never ask for recaps. And messed up this morning because i was tired from being sick all night. but aside from that i always read ppls post otherwise you miss something

I agree with Etna, but gotta say... skimming is a worldwide thing, everyone does it.

She actually talked to me about it and she doesn't mind if you skim, of course you can't stop someone from doing that, but what she found annoying was that people were skimming and then asking questions about what's going on or wondering why what they just said or did didn't make sense. I believe that's how she feels.

Understandable, nothing more annoying than lazy people that ask for recaps 😛
