Aliir awoke in a panic as he caught the tree branch he was sleeping on with his tail and crossed his arms over his face inches away from the ground. He let go and rolled out onto the grass still panting. "It was just a dream," he whispered into the night sky, "just another dream.." he lulled himself back to rest before being awoken by the screeching cries of the morning bird's song.Sitting himself up, he checked his bag and found nothing but crumbs and an empty water pouch. His stomach growled at the realization that he will have to go another day without food. Grabbing his walking stick, he found a worn out trail in the ground and decided to pursue it. If people found a need to make this path, he said as his stomach began to growl again, then surly it will lead to food. Aliir wasn't normally this vain. In fact he welcomed days before without food. But they were usually one or two days extending. Today would mark his fourth day without nourishment, and it was starting to take its toll.
The sound of a rushing brook perched his ears upward and with closed eyes followed the sound until the sound couldn't get any louder. He smelled the water searching for any impurities or pollutants, but when all seemed clear he hesitated a moment. He starred into the reflective water hypnotically until a flash caught his eyes. He smiled, "dinner" he growled. After taking his long sip and filling his water pouch, he knelt by the brook several yards from where he drank and the brook became a creek. Once he found a small pool he saw the swirling masses below skimmering and swimming below. Once he found several decent size fishes, he began to hunt stabbing into the water with silent deadly precision. His hand would penetrate the water as though extending a hand shake, but once it was inside, it curled around the fish, latched on with the claws, and dragged the morsel out still squirming. After he made a decent catch (enough to suffice for a meal) he sat down and ate, and was very much satisfied. He laid back by a tree which where he was partly in shade and in the sun and laid down for a nap.
Aliir rolled over and his head nudged against a root. He blinked into consciousness and realized it was a brand new day. Thee food must have had an even greater effect then he had anticipated, and the hunger and fatigue that he had endured took a toll greater then he had thought. Still he was hungry, and like all things that offer temporary satisfaction, he would have to pursue for mediocrity (in his mind, nothing else was worth gaining). He crawled back towards the pool where he had hunted before to his immense dissatisfaction that all the fish were gone. "Well, such is life," he grumbled packing up his stuff and grabbing his stick, "lightning never strikes twice..."
He took the road again seeing how it hadn't failed him since. The sight was nothing spectacular. The sun was getting well into the sky by now and the road was, for the most part, well shaded. Animals would scurry across the path, some stopped midway before dashing back the route they came. Perhaps at a younger age, Aliir, would have stopped to bask in the beauty before him. He would have climbed the trees and jumped occasionally stirring animals from the resting places and chasing them for fun. But if there's one thing Aliir respects it's the passage of time and the effects it has on things. And indeed time has changed Aliir.
His ears picked up faint murmurs and at first attributed it to the scurrying of little rodent's feet. But when the murmuring began to sound more like speech and he could hear the rustling of grass, he leaped up into one of the trees and climbed until the foliage camouflaged him well. Probably another set of travelers that made camp here, or the other kind of people. No point in taking the risk. I'll see who they are, and move accordingly. His eyes were set on the area the sound originated from and his ears were perked and attentive. Please don't be hunters, please, don't be hunters...
Lucrecia began to walk with Cato just past the camp when suddenly something made her stop she sensed a presence lurking in on one of the trees not taking any chances that it might be a spy of the dark one she looked at Cato as to not make a sound, she then lifted her chakram and aimed it right at the tree causing the unknown Kaja to fall out of it, Lucrecia smirked ~ well, well what do we have here then you got two choices Kaja either tell us who you are, or we will kill you! hmm on second thought maybe chun can deal with you ~

Aliir stood up brushing the dust off from his fall, he had been rather relieved to see the weapon cut the branch that he didn't bother to catch himself. Hunters didn't use chakrams. And that's all he needed to know.
"didn't your parents teach you any manners?" Aliir replied in a semi-cynicle monotonous tone of voice. "Little girls curtsy, not through their weapons about. If I might add I was rather tired, and the nap you awoke me from was very much needed." Aliir was obviously lying, but from the unbreaking glance, the monotonous tone, and not having gazed away from the girl, none would have been the wiser. "Do you normally come from a culture the rudely disturbs animals from trees, or is that a bad habit you picked up when you ran away from home?" Aliir smiled in his mind they're just kids, leave them alone.... He took his advice and started to walk away.
"It's rather rude to threaten potential enemies. Especially when they could have been your friends." he was feeling all warm and proud inside when he realized he forgot his bag. Remembering that it fell off after the fall, he dropped his head and sighed. All the swelling pride deflated like air in a balloon. He turned around and walked back to where his guests were.
"Well this is rather embarrassing," he said in no actual feeling of embarrassment (and in the same monotonous straight forward face). "You wouldn't happen to have any food to spare would you?"
Lucrecia smiled how quickly his tone shifted to him looking quite embarassed with himself but her mood shifted that when he had the cheek to bring her parents into the conversation ~ How dare you bring my parents into this you know nothing your already on dangerous ground so don't push it with us and If you am a friend or whatever then why were you hiding instead of showing yourself but as i said chun can deal with you, we do have food we had a good catch so now get your things and come with us ~

Aliir couldn't help but enjoy himself. So much so that he even let a smile escape his face. "Of course" he said lifting up his bag with his staff and having it slide down until both rested on his shoulder, "I don't want any trouble from you." Perhas in some near future, or thinking of having said this years before, his mannerism may have been a little too light and insensitive. However Aliir had not spoken to sentient life in nearly 20 long years. Some warped joy was surging inside of him, but the 20 years of isolation were doing well to supress it. He approached the girl and with an equal sense of joking as innocence said, "lead the way".
Aliir had not forgotten the individual who did nothing. Obviously he's the calmer one and clearly the most level headed he thought, do not let him out of your sight, or better yet, don't let him allow you to leave his.
Flarg busted out of the backpack and scurried across the ground towards Chun and started humping her leg...
Vexx quickly ran over and grabbed him up before Chun could kill him. He splashed water on his face and slapped him a few times before Flarg finally snapped out of it. "That was one helluva peach.."

first off.... XD!!! ... second.. ))Chun turned and growled at Vexx Either you keep that little pest under control or I personally will make sure he fears me more then anything in his life! she hissed at them both before slowly turning back to the new Kajan.
(( 😛 ))
"Yes.. My apologies, He is back to normal now."
Vexx walked up beside her, Flarg sitting on his shoulder.
He nodded at the New Kajan.
Aliir smiled on the inside, but did little to show for it. A steady glance over the shoddy camp and not much to his surprise, but most of them were young. Are you surprised, Aliir? Only children... Aliir jokingly walked into the middle with his wrists touching each other, as though he were bound. He dropped to his knees, bowed his head and placed his hands infront of him. "Mercy travelers, I meant you no harm. Please" he said in the worst immitated pathetic sounding voice, "I'm just a poor old man". He stood and extended his arms outward to no one in particular. "It would be wise of you too. Your friends made the fatal mistake of allowing an armed stranger into you camp. If I were you," as he glanced over at one of the humans, and after measuring him up for what he was worth, smiled and continued, "and that is a rather large if, I would take no chances. Who knows," he added shrugging his shoulders, "you might have led a spy into your camp." he ran through his head this last minute plan.
What in the hell are you doing?!
Hush I'm thinking.
Thinking!? You're going to get us killed!
Nah, it's too mixed of a group. The girl may have been childish and impulsive, but it can't be a camp full of them. No, somebodies gonna be the voice of reason and either keep me or let me go. Cause there won't be any physical way that all of them will be able to supress me..."
He stood there waiting patiently. Another thought scurried across his mind I wonder if they're here to stop the Terror as well?
