Grav closed her eyes, visualising a second bubble, thick like a brick wall that surrounded her, shielding her and within almost 10 seconds Scott's beam began to bounce onto a partially formed thick bubble. Grav opened her eyes, focussed as the bubble formed in its entirety. She then blinked twice, a bubble forming around Scott's head and bouncing the beam back toward him.
"Whoa!" Scott yelled and backed up for a minute. Luckily he was immune to his own powers or else he would've been in more trouble than he thought. "Ouch...you've defended yourself, but instead of continuing your attack you stopped. You should've kept up with your moves. Now if you would release this bubble so I can breath and continue to beat you!" He playfully screamed as he moved back in to test her hand to hand to hand game.
He didn't expect her to pull a move like that. Scott was kind of babying her and underestimating her skills and strategy. He could've broke out given time and enough force from his beams, but he politely admitted defeat seeing as she had him right where she wanted him. He only smiled and applauded her efforts. "Wow Grav...I must say I'm completely surprised and impressed. I didn't think you would pull a move like that. You were thinking ahead instead of just what to do right now. Next time I'll put a little more effort into it."
(I'm assuming they are below deck)
A flash of light appeared before Scott and Grav it was bright enough to cause them to shield there eyes. Once the light faded it turned out to be Steve, his aura had brightned when he teleported there. He sighed and looked at them. "I see you got some new members. That's good and I assume you're the new leader Scott, I normally should know these things but latley I've been really busy. Appearntly Cosmic beings have a lot of paper work that needs filling out, lots of cased that the Tribunal needs to see and stuff. So this is my first time even looking at anyone from Earth since the Dormammu incident. So do you guys have any idea what you're looking for?" he hadn't taken the time to look into everything since he had just warped there from the other end of the universe. He hadn't even looked to see that he was flying the ship, even though he hadn't talked to any of them untill that moment.
"Keep doing what you're doing. You were thinking ahead, which is a good thing, not many do that. Remember to always be ahead of your opponent and prepare for anything that they could do to you. However I will warn you that next time this attack won't work for long. I'll force my way out and break your bubble. You'll have to find a new way to beat me." Scott's happy tone left when he saw Steve, he heard everything about him and his new form and he wasn't that impressed with him. "I don't know, I'm leaving that to Amadeus, but if I did, I wouldn't tell you. Exactly why are you here anyway?"
After spending several hours in the training room on the ship (which i assume we have...), Highland had begun to master his earth abilities. He could create quicksand, different kinds of plants, transform his own matter into earth, attack with molten rock (in the right situation), enter the earth for defense, and even "fly". He would create a rock path that he would enter into and move through at super speed. He was still not very skilled in any of these new abilities, and could only maintain his transformation (BTW, is different from his rock armor) for a few minutes.
Steve riased an eyebrow and was about to just scan the entire ship and everything that involed them. But he decided to just ask why not since he didn't like to use his new forms abilities that often if he didn't need to. "I'm here because I have some free time so I decided to visit. Now why wouldn't you tell me if you knew?"
"Because you're not an official member of this team, because we don't need you and because you're holding my team back. I'm thankful that you helped them during the Dormammu incident, you truly were needed there, but you've been holding their hands ever since and appearing from nowhere because you have as you said free time. As long as you're here they are going to think that everything is alright, Mr. Powerful spirit guy is here to save and guide us. I mean look at yourself, do you really think we're so incompetent that we can't fly this ship ourselves or find out where we need to go? Steve let Etna talk with whoever you promised she could talk to and ask the Tribunal to let your spirit rest. You've done enough and I'm thankful for everything you have ever done, but come on, trust me. I can handle these guys and lead them. We don't need divine intervention for everything."
carter walked up to scott arguing with steve
"umm, scotty boy, that's steve rogers, it's captain america, i would reconize the face anywhere," carter told scott calmly but then pulled out his silver marker and took his mask off
"would you sign this for me sir?" he asked handing both things over to him
Steve got slightly confused so he quickly scanned the ship and all of their memories. He understood everything and let out a sigh, he wasn't surprised something like this would happen. But since they wanted to do it alone he wouldn't tell them the problem just let them know there was one. "Well I see. I'll leave you guys alone but for the record, I havn't seen or talked to anyone of you or anyhting Earth related since Dormammu. So the popping out of nowhere and holding there hand stuff? yea don't remember any of it ...and I remember everything. And I'm not flying ur ship when I appeared in this room this was the first time I've seen anyone from earth in weeks" he then look over to Carter and signed his mask, after it was signed he waved his hand and the hammer he asked Cho to make was floating infront of him. "Anything for a young man fighting for justice"
