"I'm not your boy and I know who he is. For the record him and my father are around the same age now." He shot a beam towards Steve and it went right through him. Without hesitation he called for his team to follow him and he moved with absolute haste, no time to wait for anyone as soon as they arrived at the deck he shot the other Steve that was flying and his beam hit him and knocked him to the ground. "Now just who in the hell are you and why are you on my ship?! I have no time for any of this nonsense, now speak up!"
Once the Steve that was steering hit the ground he began to laugh hystericaly, as his voice became slightly higher pitched and with a slight feminine sound to it. He stood up and shitfted into his real body, he became taller and his skin a paste like white. He had long brown hair and was wearing traditional Japanese clothing. He wasn't very muscular and had a body that was more befitting of a woman. He spun the wheel and it began to head towards a planetoid in the distance that looked like a floating island. From where they were looking it was some sort of temple infront of them, the man began to speak. "So my charade ends and the games finally begins. You can come quietly or I fight me and be taken anyway. Choice is yours. "
"A-A-A-Amatsu Mikaboshi....Techna...run..." Scott wasn't a fool and realized that this thing must be powerful if it could replicate Steve's new powers and everything then it would more than likely be too much for the younger ones. He was a God and he wanted to make sure that none of them were the ones Emma were talking about. His visor was already set to low power so he turned around and pushed Harkin, Grav, Ayaka and Carter back below deck. Masamune readied his swords seeing that Scott intended to fight and he wouldn't have it any other way. "Before we defeat you why don't you tell me something. Were you the same one that took those souls in the future?"
Amatsu stood completly still and allowed highland's rock fist to make contact with his face, he smiled and his neck extended and wrapped around Highland's body. He began to constrict him and was going to break all of his bones but decided it would be no fun. He held him there and answered Scott's question. "Yes I was i've done everything that happened in his form recently. I've also done way more then you people know" He turned his head and looked at Masamune. "Ahh it's you, I've been keeping an eye on you ever sense the temporal disruption that brought you here occured. You are a follower of the old Faith...your bones must tremble like twigs in the wind; now that you are face to face with one of your gods." Amatsu un wrapped his neck from Highland and shrunk it back to normal, a smile spread across his face as Spider-man and Danny took battle stances beside scott. Now all he needed was Hercules to realize that he was here.
He clenched his fists, this was the first time he met him and the real Steve but he heard of all of his exploits. He moved in to recover Highland and bring him back to their lines. "Are you alright? As for you what did you do with those souls?!" Masamune decided to stand by his new friends and team, he would defy his God and fight to protect them all.
"I devoured them of course, there souls and souls of all the children who died in the explosion. And visted again farther in the there future and devoured Lady Kyle's once she died aswell of her sickness. Her pure soul gave me great joy to consume and great power to add. " He flashed them a twisted smile, and Hercules burst through the deck Floor and uppercut Amatsu. Amatsu hit the ground but blasted Hercules back by the other heroes, Herc stood up and shouted back at him. "Today I slay you Shinto swine!!"
Spider-man took this moment to go over by Felicia and try to convince her to go with the younger ones. "Felicia I need you to do something for me. We can't beat him but we will try to take him overboar and occupy him. I need you to go with the kids and the new heros and try watch them, if we get him off the ship I need you to fly this ship back to the portal we came through. " Steve teleported between the heroes and Amatsu and smiled. "You're right scott i shouldn't be holding your hand, so this is my farewell unless its another siuation like Dormammu. So goodbye, you can get out of this...I have faith in you" He gave them a military salute and vanished.
"Black Cat...tell them I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner and I'm sorry I couldn't protect them. Make sure those guys know I'm sorry and I believe in all of them. You're in charge now Cat." He looked ahead of them and he was pissed off. "That's your daughter he took Hercules, he has no right to live now...Etna...I'm sorry, I think I was wrong. That is the Steve that promised you that you could speak one last time with your King. He's toyed with your emotions and he deserves all of that hate you felt. I hope this doesn't change your feelings towards us, but unleash your fury upon this God. The rest of you follow my lead. Emma and Techna stay back and support us. Caduceus, Nimueh stay mid range, one of you shield us with magic and the other focus on offense."
Hercules grunted angrily and looked abck to Scott quickly. "I know that now, but he has done more then just that to me. He has killed my father Zues, and Burned Olympus to the ground. And at one chance at Redemption he betrayed us all. We all have to do what we can, and if we can't kill him atleast allow the others to leave" He was amd but was going to wait till another attacked first in order to make sure he didn't get in the way.
