Read First Thunder. Superman isn't as effective against magical beings, and in that book he was having an extremely hard time against a minor magical construct. RK Thor was so much more than that. Stilt you hate Thor. Pardon me for saying this, but I'd never use you to judge a match that pits Thor against any character.

First Thunder was more of a Shazam retold story line. Superman was there just to show the level Shazam could be at, and to use Clark as a catalyst to tell the wizard to **** off when he learned Shazam was just a kid being forced to carry burdens he didn’t officially asked for.
Also, using that as a way to law balled Clark is asinine when we know Clark as far better magical resisting feats.
Hell, Superman just casually beat the snot out of Supergirl and Shazam when he became serious.
