bales acting does suck. its actually one of the reasons why salvation got bad reviews.

Yeah, but the reason it got near unanimous praise is because of the great work of everyone else involved, including Bale. He's the only Bruce Wayne that people could care about and understand.

If it means anything, I didn't even know who Heath Ledger was before I saw TDK.

Because his arc was centered around his "role" as Batman. It's a flashy role for the most part. Of course people are going to pay attention to The Joker and praise him more, he's the villiain!

he was boring in the dark knight. he was monotone and had only two facial expressions. and thats not because he was just so into his role of dark tortuted bruce wayne, thats just how his acting is. its stale. he was good in reign of fire and harsh times but aside from that his acting is very boring.

if he wasnt so attractive he wouldnt very noteworthy imo.

What, were you expecting Bruce Wayne to be emo or something? He's always been portrayed this way in the comics. He's always at heart been a brooding monotone loner. I thought Bale was the best part of the movie actually.
