Exactly, I never said he was the reason that TDK did so well, but Bale seems to get some good roles and has been in the plenty of good movies.
Yes Reign of fire was a great movie and I'm sure he's had other good roles. You can't leave out American Psycho which was also a good movie and was possibly Bales break through role/movie.

seems like alot of people on this board are basing Bale's acting on TDK and the new Terminator movie theres more to him then just those two movies.
I know, he's done other movies to and has done pretty well in them, actors aren't always great in the roles that they portray, they have movies where they suck and for some reason here people seem to be concentrating more on Bales bad acting, but thats mainly due to the fact that this is about his role in T4 which he apparantly sucked at. I haven't seen T4 so I can't say myself that he sucks as Connor or does a fine job of it.
