The DLC achievements have recently been revealed by the way. First saw 'em after I had to update Left 4 Dead 1 when I was playing it some again with a couple people. Comes out this Tuesday, of course.
Supreme Sacrifice: Complete “The Sacrifice”.
Kill Bill: Have Bill sacrifice himself for the team.
Chaos Generator: Have all 3 generators running at once in “The Sacrifice” finale.
Sacrifizzle: As a Special Infected, incap someone who is trying to sacrifice themselves.
Barrel Rolled: Kill a Special Infected with an exploding barrel.
I lol'd at the Kill Bill one. That should be interesting.
Well, usually when I hear sacrifice somebody, there's a reason.
For example, a bridge won't go down to stop the invading horde, somebody goes back and sacrifices themselves to make the bridge fall. If you incap somebody before they do that, the job isn't done.
I assume the last mission, somebody on the team has to go back by themselves to do something or the entire mission is kaput. In Versus, I suspect that you can incap them before the finish what they are supposed to do.
But I'm just speculating.
**** VALVE!
I just downloaded The Sacrifice for Left 4 Dead 1 an hour ago and already I'm mad as heck. 560 Points for that crap? It didn't even have what the trailer showed. No Special Infected from L4D2 appearing and no extra weapons, it's the same old stuff. Valve could've said that that stuff in the trailer was only available for L4D2 and not L4D1 but no they didn't. Screw them.

Your just bitching because you made a mistake.
I believed that I heard from somebody that The Sacrifice would be the first L4D1 DLC to have some L4D2 content and since I played it, obviously he was full of crap. Now there's 560 points I won't be seeing again and I would've downloaded that thing on L4D2 were it not for it's god awful servers making me sell it back at Gamestop.
Out of all the many interviews about the download, Valve employees should've said that it was The Sacrifice minus the awesomeness on L4D1 but no, they didn't give a heads up on that part and videos of leaked gameplay footage never shown L4D1 which made me speculate that that stuff in the vids were gonna be in the The Sacrifice (on L4D1 of course). I've been frickin duped!
Now that I think about it, why is it that The Sacrifice on L4D1 is the same price as the L4D2 version? What's with this same price, half content nonsense? I knew Microsoft was greedy but for god sakes, why go this far to gain money even though they're already a company with millions of dollars? Is lowering a price on bad downloads too much to ask for? Is Bill Gates on crack or something?
First, its your fault you thought that L4D2 would miraculous show up in the first game. Not once has Valve ever said that all the new special infected will be available in L4D. Why would they do that, it's a different game.
Valve released new DLC, which was one campaign for L4D and L4D2. Valve then gave away No Mercy for L4D2 at no extra cost because it wouldn't cost them anything to create it. But if you thought, after watching videos of The Sacrifice in L4D2 that L4D would get all that shit, your seriously misguided.
Also, Bill Gates has nothing to do with the running of MS. He stepped down as CEO and is only an non-executive chairman.
But seriously, why the hell did you ever think L4D2 content will be in L4D?
One DLC campaign, two games. You either buy it for the first, or you buy it for the second.
It's not Valve's fault that you thought crazy thoughts.

Valve said that never in their life would they throw L4D on the PS3 but hey guess what? They're going to. Anything can be possible these days so what's stopping them from adding some L4D2 into L4D1?
What does that have to do with anything.
The fact remains, you made a mistake thinking that Valve would magically put L4D2 content in L4D DLC, when there was never any mention of it.

Being screwed is when Valve goes, "all the shit in L4D2 will available in L4D DLC", and then not doing it.
That's not what happened.

Another circumstance where PC beats Xbox - not that I don't love my Xbox. All DLC was completely free and though there were some areas of the DLC for both games that didn't meet my expectations, it was still free. Hence the massive tear in the gaming community.
Also, I remember saying something about L4D2 incorporated finale in the L4D version, but I didn't say anything about any other L4D2 content - assuming you were talking about me 😕 .
Tbh, dude. All you can do is bite the bullet. Valve seem to be going down this sell-out route all of a sudden and I think it's taking fans by surprise. I mean, they've got a store on Team Fortress 2 where you can buy content, with actual money. Why? That's an MMORPG style mechanic...
Valve sell outs!!
They're like on of the only companies in existence these days that give out new content without a price.
Talk about TF2, how many free updates were released by Valve. How many new maps, new modes, new weapons, new gameplay devices and people start complaining about how they allow people to buy content.....which I might add, you can still get for free???
Unfortunately, the DLC for the 360 is a MS deal, but I bet you that Valve would of released it for free if they could. I'm sorry, but the idea that Valve are going down the sell out is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard.
