Team KMC vs DC Earth

Iceman is the stealth player here. He is the only one that does not need a true physical body. He is also the only one that can "infect" people with his water consciousness, and not be noticed, considering it is solely water. I can control the water in people's systems. Think about how many super people drink water, or have water/liquids inside of them. If Iceman disperses himself through a water system, or even just just moisture inversions himself directly into all the super heroes bodies, he'd be hiding in plain site. I could get tons of information this way, and once I get the signal you have hundreds of dead super heroes bursting from the inside out, or drying out into nothing but dirt, or literally freezing because I stopped the chemical heat reactions in a person, or I froze their brain to mush, or stop their molecules to absolute zero. Too easy really.

Besides spreading himself in that way, Iceman controls the water. Think about how much water there is all over the planet. I want to start a war? I create a famine by holding water from people (without anyone knowing I was involved). This in fact could be one of the most successful plans as we could control where water does and does not go to, creating tensions between superpowers (nations, not people), but in turn that creates tensions between super people. It goes along with Darths wanting to create tension, and spread resources thin along the world.

I could also coalesce enough water moisture to create a "Day After Tomorrow" type scenario, but if we want the world as is and taking it over in good shape, I doubt we need that.

Iceman has other uses, and this is but a sample, but I thought I might as well let other people know why he is useful

Ahem. Please prove that Iceman is actually that powerful. And that you could master the uses of his powers better than he could, or better than anyone else who has ever had access to his powers.

Grandmaster wakes up with a chip on his shoulder and decides to mess with DC Earth so he makes a bet with the Spectre. He abducts 7 members from the KMC vs Forum and sticks them into a machine that gives them the powers/abilities of some of their favorite characters from Marvel Earth(consider them amalgam complete in every way[knowledge, powers, standard equipment, etc.]). He then gives them a challenge, the 7 of them have 3 years to completely conquer DC Earth(minus the Spectre since he's in on the bet) using whatever means are necessary. Can they do it?

Also, DC Earth is completely unaware of the invaders until they make their presence known.

Team KMC

darthgoober- Silver Surfer(Duh...)
Digimark007- Adam Warlock w/Soul Gem
Scoobless- Thor(classic)
Blair Wind- Iceman
Onedumbgo- Dr. Doom
batdude123- Magneto
Newjack- Juggernaut

I understand your point about him using them better, but from our early conversation about Surfer I gather that you missed that part of the opening post since it pretty much guarantee's that we'll use them at least as well as the original characters.

Ok, I missed that first part. However, I still do not believe you could take down Superman that easily. 😛

As for Iceman, again, prove he's that powerful to begin with, even potentially.

BW came up with a solid, semi-inventive plan. Give him his props. 😛

I'll be back tomorrow with a kick ass plan for Magneto. 😗

I figured as much. It's my bad too cause I forgot about that stipulation myself when I started talking about having Surfer's powers for a year. But I'm still pretty sure that a red solar radiation charged surfboard plowing into Supes's head at 1,000 times lightspeed would be more then enough to put Blue down for a 10 count. Or I could get really vicious and go Exiles Surfer on him...

You know I just realized that there are two mutants on the team and Surfer can amp their evolution by leaps and bounds...

darth, you really should've drafted a high level telepath or magic user instead of the juggernaut...it would've made your team far more versatile and formidable

however, I will withhold further judgment until i see HOW you guys utilize juggernaut

Do not sell me short.

I know probably better than anyone here just how powerful and versatile the Juggernaut power can be when under the right circumstances.

Sure why not. Not really what I meant. It was more reference the fact that in a tourny past we both used quotes from it to support our cause. I know Digi can do better at strategy than what he stated above.

Of course I can. But I've really only been thinking about my own possible contributions. I haven't really even bothered to consider the entire team, and am really just trying to figure out how to take out all of you and rule DCU by myself.

Seriously?! Like I said, karmic blasts. It's never (ever) been blocked, wrecks concentration, and would incapacitate any GL. I'm their walking kryptonite.

Warrior Madness Thor shrugged it off though.

The hell?!

Fine. Who do we have?

darthgoober- Silver Surfer
Digimark007- Adam Warlock w/Soul Gem
Scoobless- Thor(classic)
Blair Wind- Iceman
Onedumbgo- Dr. Doom
batdude123- Magneto
Newjack- Juggernaut

Surfer has high level matter manipulation powers. So he recreates all of Doom's tech, including his time machine. We then strip the Cytorrak Gem from Juggernaut (freely given or by force) and give it to Surfer, making him freaking unstoppable.

We hop through the timeline picking off random foes, immediately hopping through time to a different point in order to keep ourselves anonymous. And yes, we use the soul suck when necessary to dwindle their numbers. Dispersed throughout time, the murders seem unconnected and are untraceable.

We also travel to the far future when the GL Corps is all but gone, and steal rings for the entire team.

Once we've weakened them sufficiently, we have Thor soak in the combined energy blasts of Magneto, Surfer, and a magic blast from Doom, and he magnifies the blast x100 with Mjolnir and wrecks entire continents at a time with it. Magneto reverses earth's polarity to further the destruction of our primary threat (earth).

Warlock (me) transfers us into the soul gem, where he has absolute dominion, and we conduct battle with any survivors of Thor's onslaught from inside the gem.

Iceman......dude's useless. I guess Blair's earlier stuff qualifies as a use, so he can do that stuff.

So there. Maybe not Blair's doomsday strategy, but it took me all of 30 seconds to come up with that. And I'd take the miracle machine, but that would be cheating.

good plan digi. now can we ban time travel...seems a bit cheap.

I think your wrecking the earth clause might not jive with conquering it. But I like the timelines thing and all.

I was thinking one of the better uses for Juggernaut would be as a distraction/feint. Stick one of Doom's time stop bombs along with a tracer under Juggy's helmet and then have him attack some place that you know the Justice League would defend. He gets captured and taken back to headquarters...time bomb gets activated. Doom teleports everyone inside JLA Headquarters and bam, entire JLA down, just like that. Free to proceed from there.

Full knowledge of the characters, Dr. Doom, and a matter manipulator? It would seem cheap to ban it, imo. Seems the simplest way to a win, to be honest. Blair set his mind to giving Iceman a use, but honestly the easiest way would be to just cheap-ass win our way through time travel. Hell, go back to before earth was populated and destroy it. Or rule it from day one, and plan its future out from there. If we're that dead set on it, it's really that easy.

And who's going to stop us? Rip What's-his-name and Booster Gold? Pfft!

**** conquering. I've got my own agenda.

😎

digi, I really liked your use of Juggernaut though..using his gem to power someone else

that was brilliant

in fact, you might want to give it to Magneto...Surfer's already godly, Magneto still has human durability, with it he will be godly as well and the gem will boost his magnetic abilities as well

Mags has class 100 durability whenever he wants it.

Letting Doom play with Cyttorak's gem might be interesting, though. I'm sure he'd figure out how to tap into its powers the best, might even be able to augment and alter them with his own magic.

i dont picture doom as the muscles in this fight

doom will be the prep guy, the planner, the organizer, and the manipulator...he'll act behind the scenes...so giving him the gem is a waste imo

Didn't Stevie a complete novice in the ways of magic utilize it in ways that Cain couldn't even begin to imagine? Handing it over to Doom could be very interesting.

Team KMC should attack the most secretive headquarter on DC Earth, The Batcave.

If something fishy goes on in DC Earth, and it later becomes a planetary-level threat, Bats would try figuring it out asap.
Besides, he's one of the greatest human threats in DC Earth. He's too smart and cunning to just let be.

Guys, if you ever feel like it, your Marvel team should take on a KMC DC team, even in a once off debate. I'd love to see how different strategies come together when it's members rather than characters coming up with them...
