Harrison Ford has elaborated on the details of the next installment of the Indiana Jones series to the BBC while promoting his latest work; Extraordinary Measures. Ford said this:
"Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] and I are sort of agreed on a germ of an idea and we're seeing what comes of it."

But the actor added that fans shouldn't expect the film to come out anytime soon.

"The process works like this," he said. "We come to some basic agreement and then George goes away for a long time and works on it."

"Then Steven and I get it in some form, some embryonic form."

"Then if we like it we start working with George on it and at some point down the line it's ready and we do it."

Oh, well... with the thirtieth anniversary of Raiders of the Lost Ark happening next year, maybe we will at least get a Blu-ray release of the complete Indy series.
Or maybe Seth McFalane or Seth Green can do an animated celebration of the globe-trotting archeologist. Heck, Indyfans would settle for some stop motion of their action figures being melted with a lighter! Maybe hire the gang at the IndyCast to do a new version of Raiders: The Adaptation
