Okay, who did that? Come on.

Ted Haggard.

Wipe him out.

All of him...?

Which Ted Haggard? The one who condemns even light drug users or the one who does crack...?

The one who hates the gays or the one who goes to rent boys...?

Oh they're the same guy..? Wow. 😛

Impressive... most impressive.

His powers of Hypocrisy and self-dellusion are clearly ones of fortitude.

Better watch out then.

We ALL had with crazy f**ks like that around and in power.

Such is life.

Such was his church, you mean, letting that shit go on.

Did'nt they have some guy like him GTA: Vice City?

They did..!! I dont think it was him per say, but definitely lampooning the wide and hypocritical problem that those seemingly pious institutions have with matters of hard drugs, organised sex abuse. But Haggard did become a kind of an insignia for it.

Well, it usually goes wrong when you're in a position of power and people hail you as the next messiah. Haggard had such a position.

I agree particularly with the messiah bit.

Neither Ghandi or Abraham Lincoln turned to meth and rent boy schpincter.
So its more likely that Haggard kinda always liked young boys and meth.

Therefore its just more evidence for the fact that it is an institution that has authorative positions (Which usually work with the young and vulnerable) is prone to a certain types of people seeking out and getting jobs.

And those institutions guard their own.

In Haggards case he IS the institution. And very often they fall because people worship them. It happens a lot.

Ghandi was certainly different, but he chose to live the most sobre life possible. Any form of richness or power is a contradiction to that. But he sure kept his word and stuck to his non violent guns. Not many are that strong.

Yup. So about time we starting kerbing the power/automatically payed yet undue respect afforded to these guys then...?

They should keep people next to them that don't aleways agree with him. Down with the croney boys.

Yep. Thats true. People don't accquire that sort of power in isolation.

Absolutely, nor do they always know how to handle it.

Even seen that documentary " The Eyes of Tammy Faye"? It's about Jim Bakker and that christian theme park he was buidling in de 70s. That really shows how people can just slide down into the money pit without even realising and truly believing you're doing the right thing. And in the end getting roasted alive by fellow believers who have been standing by doing nothing until things go wrong.

Quite a revealing film. It shows people are not always evil per se... more like uncorrected. And some prefer to keep themselves uncorrected, those are the ones to watch out for.

Cool. I havent seen it. I'll go see if I can find it.. 🙂
Thanks for the recommend.

Well a sociopath with a nuke might not think he is doing anything wrong by playing with his toy, but to us, blowing it up near our arses would be percieved by us as an evil act.

And that sociopath might be of the opinion that he is the one who is to be doing the correcting.

And how about sharia law? According to the hardcore Muslims, we live incorrectly...
