Indiana Jones 5

So hes washing his hands of all responsibility/involvement?

Sounds like it... not very good. I hope he DOES get involved with story this time. After all, he did with Tintin (going to see that this weekend) and with War Horse... Why should Indy V be another crapfest. If no one says STOP to Lucas, it's gonna be more of the same like he previous four movies (PT and Indy IV). I mean, that is obvious. Even Clone Wars is crap...

The Tintin movie is out ?!?

ah have to wait until december here in Australia.

Dont worry though: If Spielberg is doing it, it'll be focusing on the two young children of Snowy's vet as the main story.
We probably just see occasional appearances of Tin Tin through their eyes.

Hehehe... the trailer looks good though.

The trailers looked good for TFs movies too.
And for Indy IV.

Yeah but you've also got Peter Jackson as one of the Producers on it

and over at Rotten Tomatoes it has a 85% rating for it if you go by that site.

Well maybe theres hope that its decent then.

I'll tell ya in a day or so.

Well?

It was pretty good, I liked it.

Kinda funny, Spielberg was thought by the French to be inspired by Tintin when he made Raiders. But he had never heard of it. Now he finally made Tintin into a movie... and he made it like Indiana Jones... but a lot better than KOTCS.... Very enjoyable.... and he sure knows how to move his camera in virtual space.

"Better than KOTCS": Not saying much... 😛

True, but it does show that Spielberg DOES know how to make an Indiana Jones movie. Just without Lucas.

The need to restrain Lucas for the next Indy movie, Tie him up in a chair and gag him.

Problem is... he is the boss of the asylum.

So you went to see Tin Tin and got Indiana Jones.
More proof that Spielberg cannot stick to the subject of the title of his movies.

But alot of the stories to do with Tintin are like Indiana Jones in some way.

Only with added racism. 🙂

Well, Tintin as a character in the comics is rather boring compared to Indy. Spielberg spiced him up a bit, enhanced the action side of Tintin without harming the comics.

Ooooops. That'll piss off the the purists....
